Introduction

Trilobite Testing Inc. is an oilfield service company providing Drillstem testing, Bottom hole pressure testing, 1Pt & 4Pt State testing and Surface Read-Out (SRO).

In 1986, Paul Simpson established Trilobite Testing, with 1 truck in Hays, Kansas. The company grew rapidly over the next several years, expanding first to Scott City and then to Satanta and Pratt KS. In 1998 the company was given the opportunity to expand once again. This time into the Illinois basin area.

Through out Kansas and Illinois Trilobite Testing, Inc. employs 18 testers serving Kansas, Colorado, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Texas, Illinois, Indiana, and Kentucky.

The latest technology is utilized at Trilobite Testing for gathering data and forwarding it to our customers in a timely fashion. An electronic memory recorder is used to obtain the downhole data. Once the recorder is returned to the surface the data is downloaded to a laptop computer. The ATMS2000 software allows on site viewing of the test information, as well as a graph depicting the pressure, temperature, and time on bottom. Using digital cellular phones the information can be uploaded, while on location, to our home office and sent to our customers via e-mail or fax.
