Job Description Summary

The primary function of the tester is to drive a pre-equipped truck to well sites and perform drill stem, wire line, and state well tests using electronic equipment and computers. (Wire line and State tests apply to testers in Pratt and Hugoton)

Requirements

Education: Required: High school diploma or equivalent

Licensing/Registration/Certification Required: Valid drivers license

DOT Medical card

Experience: Desired: Oil field , Computer skills

Body Movements: Bending, Pushing, Pulling, Lifting

Must be able to lift 100 pounds and be able to assemble, using lifting equipment, testing tools of various diameters and lengths.

Working Conditions

Most of the work is done out doors and under potentially extreme weather conditions. Driving state, county and country roads to and from locations. On call 24 hours, 7 days a week for defined periods. May stay out of town for several days at a time.

Days off

Four (4) consecutive days every 32 days, on a rotational basis

Expenses

Company credit cards will be used for lodging, fuel and maintenance.

Employees will be re-imbursed monthly, for out of pocket expenses such as meals and postage.

401K profit sharing retirement program is available to all full-time employees after the completion of 1 year of continuous service.

Employer contribution 4% of gross pay

Employee contribution 4%-15% of gross pay

A background check of driving, criminal, and workman’s comp records will be obtained prior to start date. Trilobite will not hire an individual without a valid Kansas driver’s license or someone who is a habitual violator. Suspension of driving privileges by the state due to excessive tickets, DUI’s etc. could result in immediate dismissal.
